PHP Developer

We're looking for a PHP Developer with experience in real-world web applications, both new and legacy. You'll build features, modernize existing code and integrate key services for the business, working 100% remotely.

• 5+ years of professional experience with PHP 7.4/8.x.

• English B2 or higher (mandatory).

• Daily use of AI tools to code and boost productivity (GitHub Copilot, Cursor, ChatGPT or Claude).

• Applied AI: experience integrating AI APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic) into PHP applications.

• Object-oriented programming, MVC patterns and SOLID principles.

• Experience with at least one framework (Laravel, Symfony or CodeIgniter).

• MySQL or MariaDB, including query optimization.

• Composer, Git and PHPUnit.

• Working knowledge of HTML, CSS and JavaScript.
  Responsibilities

• Build new features and maintain existing PHP code.

• Lead the refactoring of legacy code and set best practices for the team.

• Build and integrate REST APIs and external services (payments, CRM, ERP).

• Optimize queries and application performance.

• Document and test delivered code.

Nice to have

• WordPress, WooCommerce, Magento or Drupal (plugin or theme development).

• Docker and deployment on Linux servers (Nginx, Apache).

• Experience migrating legacy projects to modern frameworks.

• Symfony and API Platform.

• Knowledge of Vue.js or React.

• 100% remote from any country in Latin America, no relocation needed.
