Python Developer

We're looking for a Python Developer who enjoys building solid, scalable backends for products already in production. You'll work 100% remotely as part of the team, developing APIs, services and automations.

• 5+ years of professional experience with Python 3.

• English B2 or higher (mandatory).

• Daily use of AI tools to code and boost productivity (GitHub Copilot, Cursor, ChatGPT or Claude).

• Applied AI: experience integrating AI APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic) into backend services.

• Strong command of at least one framework: Django, FastAPI or Flask.

• Solid SQL and ORM experience (Django ORM or SQLAlchemy).

• Experience with pytest and version control with Git.

• Knowledge of Docker and cloud deployment (AWS, GCP or Azure).

Responsibilities

• Design and build REST APIs with Django, FastAPI or Flask.

• Model and optimize relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL).

• Integrate third-party services and build automation or data-processing scripts.

• Write unit and integration tests.

• Lead code reviews, set technical standards and mentor other developers.

Nice to have

• Celery, Redis or message queues (RabbitMQ, Kafka).

• Pandas or data pipeline experience.

• Experience with GraphQL or microservices.

• Cloud certifications (AWS, GCP or Azure).

• Open source contributions.

• 100% remote from any country in Latin America, no relocation needed.

• Backend projects in production with real impact on the product.

• Flexible hours with partial overlap with the client's time zone.
