At Dev Talenty (operated by PulpoLine), we care about the privacy of every person who accesses, browses, uses, or registers on our website www.devtalenty.com (the "Site"), and especially those who provide us with their personal data when applying. This Privacy Policy describes what data we collect, how we use it, with whom we share it, the measures we take to protect it, and what your rights are.

1. Acceptance and authorization

By registering and accepting this Policy, you authorize Dev Talenty to process your data and share it with client companies and contracting entities in order to present you with opportunities, evaluate your profile, and, where applicable, hire you to provide services on their projects. You also authorize us to send you, by any means, communications from us and third parties that may be of interest to you as a platform user.

2. Collection and use of your information

We do not collect identifying information without your prior and express consent. Collection occurs only when you voluntarily provide it by completing our forms and accepting this Policy as part of the registration process. By doing so, you accept and agree to: (a) provide accurate, current, and complete data about yourself; and (b) keep it updated so that it remains truthful and complete.

You are responsible for the accuracy of the data provided. Dev Talenty reserves the right to exclude any user who has provided false data, without prejudice to initiating applicable legal actions. If you prefer not to share your personal information, we urge you to refrain from providing it and from registering on the Site.

If you choose to provide your information, it will be subject to automated processing and incorporated into Dev Talenty's database.

3. What data we collect

We collect the data you provide through our forms and during the recruitment process:

  • Identification and contact data: full name, phone number, email address, country of residence.
  • Professional data: LinkedIn profile, résumé (work experience, education, certifications), portfolio (optional), salary expectations.
  • Evaluation data: technical test results and any information you share during the process.
  • Nationality: we treat this as data necessary to assess the viability of your contractual engagement with clients (services or outsourcing agreements).

4. Automatically collected data

Our server automatically collects certain technical data, such as: your device's IP address and that of your Internet service provider, date and time of access, browser name and version, operating system, sections of the Site you visited, and content sent or downloaded. We use this information for administrative, statistical, and service improvement purposes. This automatic data does not include name, address, phone number, email, or card numbers; such data is only collected when you provide it as described in the previous section.

5. Cookies

Cookies are files containing a small amount of information that the Site stores in your browser to consult your previous activity.   • Building and maintaining our talent database, as well as preparing statistics, reports, and internal analyses to improve our processes.
  • Improving Site content and personalizing your experience.
  • Communicating information for advertising, marketing, and research purposes, as well as verifying your availability.
  • Complying with applicable legal obligations and protecting our rights and legitimate interests.

Use of artificial intelligence

We use automated tools and artificial intelligence to support profile filtering and evaluation. These tools assist our team, which maintains supervision of relevant decisions.

7. Legal basis for processing

We process your data based on your express consent, granted when you accept this Policy and our Terms and Conditions, as well as to carry out the necessary steps to connect you with job opportunities.

8. With whom we share your data

To fulfill the purposes described, we may share your information, including but not limited to:

  • Our internal team and companies within the same group, for process management.
  • Client companies and contracting entities globally, in order to present your profile and, once hired by Dev Talenty, assign you to provide services on their projects.
  • Providers of artificial intelligence tools, technology, and services we use to operate our business.
  • Third parties when necessary to comply with legal obligations, execute agreements, or protect our rights and legitimate interests.

We may expand or adjust the above recipients and purposes as our business evolves, informing you through the current version of this Policy. We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

9. International data transfer

Since our clients are global, by accepting this Policy you expressly consent to your data being transferred and processed outside Costa Rica and your country of residence, including countries whose data protection laws may differ from yours. We adopt reasonable measures to ensure such transfers are carried out with adequate confidentiality and security safeguards.

10. Data retention

We retain your personal data for a period of 48 months from your last interaction with us, unless you request deletion earlier or a legal obligation requires a different period. After this period, the data is deleted, archived, or anonymized.

11. Information security

We apply reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data against unauthorized access, loss, or alteration. Your data is hosted on the infrastructure associated with our website. No system is completely infallible, but we are committed to acting diligently in the event of any incident.

12. Minors' data
