1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing, completing, and submitting a technical test through the Dev Talenty platform, the candidate declares that they have read, understood, and accepted these Terms and Conditions.
Submitting the technical test constitutes express acceptance of these conditions and the rules established for its submission, review, and evaluation.
If the candidate does not agree with any of these terms, they must refrain from submitting the technical test.
2. Purpose and use of the technical test
The technical test has the sole purpose of evaluating the candidate's profile, including their knowledge, skills, experience, analytical ability, and problem-solving capacity in relation to the position for which they are participating in the selection process.
The technical test will be used exclusively for evaluation and selection purposes.
Dev Talenty will not use the technical test, its solutions, code, designs, documentation, or any other material submitted by the candidate to develop internal projects, products, services, or commercial activities of its own.
The material provided will be used only to the extent necessary to carry out the evaluation and selection process.
The test may be reviewed by:
- The Dev Talenty team.
- Technical evaluators designated by Dev Talenty.
- The client for whom the selection process is being conducted, when applicable.
- Providers or technological tools used to support the evaluation process, including artificial intelligence tools.
When applicable, the test may be shared with the client for whose position the process is being conducted, exclusively for the purpose of evaluating the candidate's suitability for that position.
Submitting a technical test does not guarantee that the candidate will advance to subsequent stages of the process or receive a job offer or hiring.
3. Valid submission method
Technical tests must be completed and submitted exclusively through the platform enabled by Dev Talenty.
Technical tests submitted through other means will not be accepted or evaluated, including but not limited to:
- Email.
- WhatsApp.
- Direct messages on LinkedIn.
- Instant messaging.
- Direct submissions to evaluators' personal accounts.
- Submission of repositories or files through channels external to the platform.
- Any other means of communication not authorized by Dev Talenty.
The platform constitutes the only official channel for delivering the technical test.
4. Repositories, links, and files
The candidate is responsible for verifying that all information provided for evaluation is correct and accessible.
When the test includes repositories, documents, applications, demos, files, or any other external resource, the candidate must ensure that:
- The links provided are correct.
- Repositories are public and accessible.
- Required files are available.
- Access permissions allow the evaluation team to review the material.
- Resources remain available throughout the evaluation process.
If the evaluation team cannot access the material necessary to review the test, it may be automatically rejected.
Dev Talenty will not be responsible for tests that cannot be evaluated due to incorrect links, private repositories, insufficient permissions, deleted files, or any other access restriction attributable to the candidate.
The candidate must ensure that links and repositories remain accessible throughout the entire review period.
5. Deadline to complete and submit the test
Each technical test will have a delivery deadline date and time, which will be indicated on the platform.
The candidate is responsible for completing and submitting the test before the established date and time.
Once the expiration deadline is reached, the platform may prevent submission of the test.
Tests submitted after the established deadline will not be accepted or evaluated, unless Dev Talenty expressly determines otherwise.
Reminders sent by the platform are intended to facilitate compliance with the deadline, but do not replace the candidate's responsibility to verify the corresponding deadline.
6. Review process and timeline
Once correctly submitted, the test will be incorporated into the evaluation process.
The review process may take up to four (4) weeks from the submission date.
Review time may vary depending on the complexity of the test, the number of candidates, evaluator availability, client requirements, and other factors related to the selection process.
Submitting the technical test does not imply:
- Automatic approval.
- Automatic advancement to the next stage.
- Hiring.
- Receipt of a job offer.
Continuation of the process will depend on the evaluation results and the criteria established for the corresponding position.
7. Use of artificial intelligence in evaluation
As part of the review process, Dev Talenty may use artificial intelligence tools and technologies to support certain stages of technical test evaluation.
These tools may be used, among other purposes, to support the analysis of:
- Code.
- Documentation.
- Project structure.
- Responses.
- Proposed solutions.
- Technical quality.
- Compliance with certain evaluation criteria.
The use of artificial intelligence tools may be combined with review by people, when applicable.
The use of artificial intelligence does not necessarily mean that a selection decision is made exclusively by an automated system.
The candidate accepts that certain elements of the information provided as part of the technical test may be processed through artificial intelligence tools used to support the evaluation process, in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
8. Originality and authorship of the test
The candidate declares that the material submitted as part of the technical test corresponds to work performed by themselves, unless the specific test instructions expressly indicate otherwise.
The candidate must not submit as their own content, code, solutions, or materials developed by third parties without the corresponding authorization.
Regarding the candidate's use of artificial intelligence tools, the specific instructions provided for each test must be followed.
When a test prohibits or limits the use of artificial intelligence, the candidate must respect such restrictions.
Using AI tools to solve a test when their use is expressly prohibited may be considered a breach of the test conditions and may result in rejection of the test.
9. Intellectual property
The candidate retains ownership of the rights legally corresponding to them over the materials they submit, unless a specific agreement establishes something different.
Submitting the technical test does not, in itself, imply a transfer of intellectual property to Dev Talenty.
The candidate grants Dev Talenty and, when applicable, the client involved in the process, the limited right to access, reproduce, analyze, and use the submitted material exclusively to the extent necessary to review, evaluate, and manage the selection process.
This right does not authorize Dev Talenty to use the test content to develop products, services, internal projects, or commercial activities independent of the evaluation process.
The submitted material must not contain confidential information, trade secrets, proprietary code, or information belonging to third parties that the candidate is not authorized to share.
If a technical test requires specific intellectual property conditions, these must be communicated to the candidate in advance.
10. Confidentiality of the test
The content of technical tests, instructions, cases, exercises, and other materials provided by Dev Talenty or its clients may be considered confidential information.
The candidate agrees not to share, publish, distribute, or make available to third parties the content of the test when this may affect the integrity of the selection process.
This obligation may remain in effect even after the selection process has ended.
Likewise, Dev Talenty will treat the information provided by the candidate in accordance with its Privacy Policy and will use the test within the limits established in these Terms and Conditions.
11. Modification, suspension, or cancellation
Dev Talenty reserves the right to modify, suspend, or cancel a technical test, application, or selection process when it deems necessary.
This may include, among other reasons:
- Operational reasons.
- Technical reasons.
- Security reasons.
- Changes in position requirements.
- Changes in client availability or needs.
- Detection of irregularities.
- Breach of test conditions.
- Problems related to information or documentation provided.
- Changes in the selection process.
- Any other circumstance Dev Talenty considers necessary or pertinent.
Likewise, Dev Talenty reserves the right to suspend or cancel a candidate's participation at any stage of the process.
When a technical test, application, or profile is canceled or suspended, Dev Talenty is not obligated to provide the candidate with a specific explanation, justification, or feedback regarding the reasons for such decision, unless there is a legal obligation to do so.
The decision to cancel or suspend a test, application, or profile does not necessarily imply that the candidate has breached any condition and may respond to internal, operational, commercial, technical, or selection process-related reasons that Dev Talenty is not obligated to disclose.
12. Candidate responsibility
The candidate is responsible for providing correct, complete, and up-to-date information during the selection process.
It is also the candidate's responsibility to:
- Comply with the test instructions.
- Respect the deadline date and time.
- Verify that all links work correctly.
- Keep necessary repositories public and accessible.
- Submit their own material or properly authorized material.

- Report any technical issue that may affect delivery within the established deadline.
Dev Talenty will not be responsible for problems arising from incorrect information, inaccessible links, private repositories, deleted files, failures in external services, or any other circumstance under the candidate's responsibility.
13. Final acceptance
By checking the acceptance box and submitting the technical test, the candidate confirms that:
- They have read and understood these Terms and Conditions.
- They accept the conditions established for submission and evaluation of the test.
- They have provided information and material they are authorized to share.
- They understand that the test may take up to 5 weeks to be reviewed.
